On June 26th, the 3rd Sugar Industry Expo of COFCO Sugar Industry and the Promotion Conference of Sugar Products in Liaoning Sugar Industry were held in the Bayu Circle. The Expo gathered friends from the industry, and Yang Liu, deputy general manager of our company, was invited to participate in this meeting. The main contents of this conference were analysis of sugar market at home and abroad, introduction of imported processed sugar products by COFCO Sugar Industry Liaoning Co., Ltd., factory visits, etc.

The meeting pointed out that "With the increase of China´s population and the enhancement of comprehensive national strength, it is imperative to rely on international resources to supplement the domestic market. Actively expanding sugar imports is a strategic arrangement that is timely and beneficial to people´s livelihood. China´s initiative to expand sugar imports is not only conducive to maintaining the stability of supply in the domestic market, but also serving the country´s diplomatic needs, deepening economic and trade relations with major developing countries, and creating a new situation of opening up to the outside world." At the meeting, the industry insiders talked about each other and exchanged ideas, which provided us with valuable experience in judging the market trend in the second half of the year.

After the meeting, Mr. Liu and others visited the sugar processing plant and warehouse of COFCO Sugar Industry Liaoning Co., Ltd., and had close contact with the sugar production process, witnessing the whole process of processing raw sugar into finished sugar, and then sub-packaging and storing.
