On September 5th, our company participated in the Fifth Session of the Fifth Council Expansion Meeting of China Sugar Association and the National Sugar Industry 2018/19 Sugar Production Performance Benchmarking Conference. The content of the meeting was mainly the work report of the China Sugar Association Secretariat and the reports of the sugar industry of the provinces and districts in the 2018/19 sugar production period. Our company´s general manager Shujuan Cheng and deputy general manager Yang Liu attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the China Sugar Association Secretariat mainly reviewed ten aspects of the work including: cooperating with the relevant state ministries and commissions to do a good job in policy research and sugar production and sales balance, and cooperate with the General Administration of Customs and the State Administration of Markets and other departments to fully carry out the fight against sugar smuggling and conscientiously do a good job. Industry self-discipline and trade adjustment assistance work, promote industry transformation and upgrading to enhance industrial competitiveness, and earnestly complete various tasks assigned by relevant state ministries and commissions. Representatives of the General Administration of Customs and the State Administration of Markets reported on the smuggling situation in the market this year and clarified the attitude of resolutely cracking down on sugar smuggling. The provincial sugar industry associations reported the production and operation of the province´s 2018/19 sugar production period. At the end of the meeting, the China Sugar Association commended the national sugar industry benchmarking enterprises in the 2018/19 sugar period.
The meeting mainly implemented the State Council´s spirit of macro-control policies on sugar production during the 2018/19 sugar period, and strengthened exchanges among sugar industry colleagues in various regions. According to this meeting, our company has obtained the latest information on the sugar industry, and also provided reliability information support for our company´s business tasks and processing production plans for next year.
