China imported 36,600 tons of syrup in April, totaling 136,100 tons from January to April

Data released by the General Administration of Customs show that in April 2021, China imported 27,100 tons of sugarcane sugar or beet sugar solution (tariff code 17029011); Simple solid mixture of cane sugar, beet sugar and other sugar, with sucrose content exceeding 50% (tariff code 17029012) 0.03 million tons; Other solid sugar and syrups, artificial honey and caramel without flavoring or coloring (tariff code 1702 29090) are 19,200 tons, amounting to 36,600 tons in all three categories, up from 26,300 tons in March.
From January to April 2021, China´s accumulated imports of syrup totaled 136,100 tons.
