Brazil exported 172.05 million tons of sugar in February, down 5.69 percent from 1.824 million tons a year earlier, export data released Thursday by the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (Secex) showed.

The country´s average daily sugar exports in February were 90,600 tons, down 10.65 percent from 101,300 tons a year earlier, the data also showed.
