According to the data released by the General Administration of Customs, China imported 780000 tons of sugar in September, an increase of 100000 tons month on month and a decrease of 90000 tons year on year.

From January to September 2022, China imported 3.5 million tons of sugar, a year-on-year decrease of 330000 tons.

In the 21/22 pressing season, China imported 5.34 million tons of sugar, a year-on-year decrease of 990000 tons.
