According to data released by Brazilian shipping agency Williams on Wednesday, as of the week ending March 22nd, the number of ships waiting to load sugar at Brazilian ports has increased from 34 last week to 36.
The quantity of sugar waiting for shipment at the port has increased from 1.3 million tons last week to 1.3379 million tons.
In the total amount of sugar waiting for export that week, the quantity of high-grade raw sugar (VHP) was 1.319 million tons.
According to data released by Williams, the amount of sugar waiting for export at Santos Port is 878300 tons, while the amount of sugar waiting for export at Paranagua Port is 373600 tons.
