Officials from the Energy Conservation Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology affirmed the positive contribution made by the China Sugar Association to the Chinese sugar industry. And also pointed out that the sugar association should increase its efforts in serving enterprises in the next stage, level up entreprises’ requirements  to their main responsibilities, actively research and promote high-level autonomous and controllable products, further explore market-oriented cooperation models, improve the overall high-end, intelligent, and green industry developments.

      Bing Wei, the Secretary Gneral of the China Sugar Association, gave a report on the work of the Secretariat. Reported the current production and operation, as well as the planting of sugar during the new sugar production period, and analyzed the industry´s operational situation and challenges. Representatives of the regional association reported about  the sugar production, sugar planting, production and sales situation in their respective regions. The meeting reviewed and voted on coucil resolutions.

      Finally, Yan Weimin, had a summary of the meeting. He mentioned that the development of sugar industry has a long way to go, and enterprises need to accelerate the pace of transformation and upgrading, enhancing the additional value of products, promoting the competitiveness of the sugar industry, advocating the concept of natural health of sugar, and need multi-cooperations to promote the integrated development of the industry.

      During the meeting, representatives of CCSC discussed with association leaders, experts and other representatives to exchanged ideas and suggestions on how to promote high-quality development, green transformation, technological innovation, industrial cooperation, and digital empowerment of enterprises, making their own contributions to the development of the industry.
