According to the data released by the Ministry of Commerce recently, 83,300 tons of raw sugar outside the tariff quota actually arrived in Hong Kong in July, and 102,100 tons is forecast to arrive in Hong Kong next month, mainly still imported from East China, and there are also some in North and South China.
It is expected that China´s sugar imports in July will be more than 100,000 tons, compared with 280,000 tons in the same period last year.
China´s sugar imports have maintained a low level of 4-70,000 tons for four consecutive months, and imports in July are still not much, but they are expected to increase in August and September, and monthly imports may reach 600,000 tons.
