The 2024 China Sugar Industry Information Work Conference, sponsored by the China Sugar Industry Association, co organized by the Inner Mongolia Sugar Industry Association, and hosted by Inner Mongolia Chilecheuan Sugar Industry Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia from June 12 to 14, 2024. More than 50 people, including Yan Weimin, Chairman of the China Sugar Industry Association, Zhong Jinchuan, Vice Chairman, Wei Bing, Secretary General, relevant leaders of sugar industry associations in major sugar producing provinces (regions), and leaders of information technology work in sugar manufacturing enterprises, raw sugar processing enterprises, and sugar distribution enterprises, attended the meeting. Liu Yang, General Manager of China Sugar Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "our company"), attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Bai Zhe, Deputy Secretary General of the China Sugar Industry Association, gave an information work report summarizing the progress of the association´s information statistics work in recent years. Li Xiaodong, Director of the Biotechnology Research Institute of Inner Mongolia Academy of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Sciences, Dr. Shao Ke, Researcher at Inner Mongolia Academy of Science and Technology, and Wang Chao, Senior Digital Consultant at Beijing Hailade, delivered keynote speeches on three aspects: the construction of the national sugar industry technology system, the application of precision agriculture service system, and the empowerment of the sugar industry with new quality production capacity.

To further enhance the effectiveness of the work of the China Sugar Industry Association, the conference organized the establishment of the "China Sugar Industry Association Information Working Group". Our General Manager Liu Yang was successfully selected as one of the 12 members of the first Information Working Group. Yan Weimin, Chairman of the China Sugar Industry Association, has issued appointment letters to members of the Information Working Group, including Mr. Liu. Mr. Liu, as a representative member of the Information Work Group, spoke and stated that in the current era of information and data science, the fundamental purpose of information work is to create value. It is necessary to study problems and unknowns in the industry and business, deeply analyze and explore the relationship between business problems and information data, so that information work can better serve the development of the sugar industry.

During the meeting, representatives visited and inspected Inner Mongolia Knight Dairy Group Co., Ltd. Accompanied by Executive Vice President Gao Chili and Vice President Xue Jianzhong, they introduced the industry chain model of coordinated and circular development in the four major sectors of agriculture, animal husbandry, milk, and sugar. This allowed the attending representatives to have a deeper understanding of the development of sugar beet production and agriculture and animal husbandry, effectively promoting communication and exchange among sugar enterprises in the north and south.
Through this meeting, our company has further strengthened its channels for obtaining information, timely grasped the latest developments in the industry, followed up on hot industry issues, and provided strong support for our future stable development.
