During the time from Jan. 29 to Fab. 2, 2018, part of our staffs joined in sugarcane research in Guangxi organized by Futures Daily and Chaos Ternary Futures Co., Ltd. Several insiders from various fields in sugar industry and our staffs had a forum focusing on hot topic in sugar market nowadays.
According to the moving route, our staffs respectively visited four sugarcane fields and two warehouses during these two days.

During research, we mainly visited a few double-high regions i.e. high yield and sugar sugarcane fields. By land resource integration, irrigating and ridge spacing management, comprehensive mechanization of sugarcane production as an important move for future development in there would have been gradually realizing. We learned that 494,210 acres of regions had been completed by now, but still It’s going to take a while for the final step of 823,684 acres.
Besides deeply getting to know about that, we also visited warehouses for sugar futures delivery in local region, and got that it was essential to keep sugar dry during process of long-term preservation so as to avoid caking. What’s more, the storage capacity of Ronggui warehouse located in Laibin and Hongxin warehouse were separately 80,000 tons and 165,000 tons in total.

Through this research, we made the acquaintance of a few industry veterans, got lots of latest figures, knew something more about double-high region’s construction and sugarcane’s cultivation in Guangxi, which was helpful for us to grasp the opportunity in 17/18 crushing season so as to pave the way for our further business for the time to come.
